Resolute Mining says it is executing a multi-year pivot from a Mali-heavy producer into a four-country West African platform, with CEO Chris Eger arguing the market has not yet priced in the 2026 progress. Near-term group output is guided at 250,000-275,000oz in 2026 from Syama and Mako, at AISC of $2,000-$2,200/oz, while the company remains on track to target 500,000oz of annual production over time. Operationally, Syama is completing its sulphide conversion project this year, taking processing capacity to 4.0Mtpa. At Mako, Resolute is relying on satellite deposits Tomboronkoto and Bantaco to extend mine life to 2033. The growth leg is Doropo in Côte d'Ivoire, acquired from AngloGold in 2025 and now under construction, with first gold targeted in H2 2028. Management is highlighting strong project economics at higher gold prices: at US$4,000/oz gold, Doropo is modeled at a US$2,543 million post-tax NPV, 72% IRR and 1.1-year payback. Construction milestones already cited include 74 hectares cleared, 20km of access roads built, and key long-lead equipment awarded, suggesting the project is moving from planning into execution.
