Ridgeline Minerals has sold four early-stage Nevada gold exploration projects to Nevada Gold Mines for US$23.15 million, locking in a return of more than 350% on invested capital. The deal closed on August 3 and leaves Ridgeline with roughly C$33 million in cash and C$3 million in marketable securities, together exceeding its C$24.5 million market cap and sharply reducing near-term funding and dilution risk. Management says the strengthened balance sheet will be used for new project staking, exploration, possible acquisitions and potentially shareholder returns. The company retained its flagship Selena carbonate replacement target, which is being advanced under a US$20 million earn-in with South32; South32 has already committed US$4 million for 2026 drilling, keeping the programme fully funded. While this is company-specific rather than a broad gold price signal, it highlights ongoing strategic consolidation in Nevada gold exploration and a healthier financing backdrop for juniors with partner-funded assets.
