International Trade in Goods and Services, January 2026 The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis announced today that the goods and services deficit was $54.5 billion in January, down $18.4 billion from $72.9 billion in December, revised. Exports, Imports, and Balance (exhibit 1) January exports were $302.1 billion, $15.8 billion more than December exports.
