I visited several antique stores in small towns in my area and had some nice wins. Larger pieces like trays and teapots were all plated, but I got lucky with smaller items. Found a couple sterling spoons in bins marked as being all plated. I paid 99 for the sterling Tiffany table lighter and the thinner cuffs and rings are suspect (though still marked as silver) until I can make it to a coin shop for testing, but the cheap spoons pretty much paid for everything else. I had given up hope after a long series of busts, but then all this showed up. Don't give up hope on those sterling items! They're still out there! Image 2 is like $30 out of me.
