I have a favorite LcS/dealer who always buys silver at spot and gold at -$50/oz. He is a no-BS, straightforward and legit person. I went there today to sell a few oz but this time he seemed extremely frustrated and concerned, advising me not to sell today (or he would offer -$7/oz for silver and -$350(!!) for gold) He said that the refinery he sells to suddenly stopped buying without giving any details except that they “got no money”. I saw his wife desperately trying to call the refinery for more answers but they wouldnt pick up. He also said he bought about $400k worth of metals yesterday and now he is stuck with them. He advised me to wait till next week to see what is really happening. CME’s playing games or something he stated.
