I ordered from the official Scottsdale mint store on eBay on Jan 22. Being that this was my second purchase from their eBay store, I felt pretty good about them and so it was a larger (for me) order. Shipping was through FedEx signature required and originally estimated at Jan 30- Feb 3. I’d seen they have shipping issues so wasn’t worried. Feb 3rd, FedEx “attempted” delivery. I was home all day cause I’d been checking the tracker obsessively. The way I found out was a delivery picture had been uploaded to the tracking showing a package placed by my garage and tracker shows delivery attempted? There is no package outside, no one signed for it, no one came to get a signature. I call FedEx and am told their driver has it and they will attempt redelivery, they’re not sure why a picture was uploaded. Package is not scanned into the local FedEx hub that evening or scanned for redelivery since then. I keep calling FedEx and keep getting told about weather delays, issues at local hub, etc. One agent found it suspicious it hasn’t been scanned at all since Feb 3rd and the local hub will reach out. No one did. I called FedEx a final time Feb 23, and am told the shipment had been flagged by their security team and they cannot attempt redelivery until the seller contacts them regarding the shipment. I call Scottsdale mint and explain the situation and ask them to contact FedEx. They say everything has to go through eBay. I get a message from them on eBay saying that they can’t/won’t call FedEx as FedEx tracking shows attempted delivery. I have been back and forth with both EBay and Scottsdale trying to get someone to just CALL FEDEX and verify what I’ve been told. They keep telling me the tracking shows ”delivery attempted”.
